Seven Democrats, One Republican Make it to Environmental Advocates “Green” Agenda

ALBANY – Assemblyman Marc Molinaro Dutchess County is the only Republican state lawmaker to make it to Environmental Advocates of New York’s list for supporting all for of its “super bills.”
Six Democrats, Assembly Members Kevin Cahill of Ulster County; Ellen Jaffee of Rockland County; and Sandy Galef, George Latimer, Suzi Oppenheimer and Amy Paulin, all of Westchester County, also voted for the legislation.
Democrat Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins also supported the legislation.
The four 2008 “super bills” backed by Environmental Advocates of New York included the Wetlands Protection Act, the Bigger Better Bottle Bill, the Global Warming Pollution Cap, and two Net Metering Reform bills.
